REPRESENTATION IS KEY! WHAT AGENTS DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW!
Many sellers think that it is the company that sells the home for you! This is the farthest from the truth! It is the Agents Individual Activities that will sell your home.
It is the companies responsibility to market your listing to bring in more revenue for the company!
It is the agents responsibility to create income for themselves! Most companies have floor time and this is why there are so many ads in the paper, to get the phone to ring for those agents to create more business, not to sell your home.
The company is not going to call buyers, the company is not going to go door knocking, the company is not going to be available to meet and close the buyer on buying your home!
Most agents are order takers, they will do mostly what others tell them to do, only a hand full of agents are true sales people. The true sales person is going to get out there and meet new people everyday, network with other top agents and sell the other agents on your home, network with past clients and sphere of influence to receive referrals of buyers interested in buying your home, out door knocking your neighborhood asking your neighbors to choose their next neighbor!
So make sure that you hir an agent that is active and aggressive on marketing and that will give you a guarantee to do what they say they are going to do! If they are sincere about doing their job they will have an immediate cancellation clause if they do not perform as stated on thier plan of action for your listing.
A great agent will have a persally tailored plan of action just for your home! Not some generic plan that was written 20 years ago by a sales trainer that more than likely has left the industry! Your plan of action needs to be cutting edge to get sold and get top dollar in todays changing real estate market!
